| That winter in Grosseto while searching for a cinema showing a film that had won an award at the Venice Film Festival, I discovered what was hidden in the rooms of the Dopolavoro Ferroviario. (recreational club for railway workers) |

From the street level, it was impossible to imagine what was behind the insignia of the bar steps away from the Grosseto railway station with its statue of a buttero (mounted herder).

In fact, the rooms of the Dopolavoro Ferroviario had been transformed into a place, bar and restaurant including the Cinema d'Essai, which seemed to be an active cultural center in the city.

The environment and people in all their particularities sparked a Flash of the Milan Central Station I had photographed.
